- Guided walking and riding with camels - This can be a half day excursion.
- Visit to the camel boma - and meet a few characters.

- Rock and artifacts hunting
- Samburu manyatta visit
- River fishing with hand lines - for Barbels, catfish and occasionally tilipia.
- River swimming, tubing the 'rapids' and rock jumping.
- Swimming in the swimming pool/s - for your information, the bigger one at the far end is about 6 foot 3 inches (about 2 metres) deep. It is powered by solar too.
- Horse riding - rides can be arranged with prior notice at Loisaba (our neighbours). This is an extra, and cost is U.S. $40 per person for approximately an hour and a half's ride, and we recommend riding in the morning. We do advise that this activity is for competent riders only.
- Helicopter rides - these can be arranged with prior notice for hour long rides or day safaris, using helicopters based in Nanyuki.
